About

My name is IdaNicole, and I am a Master Practitioner of Clinical Counseling (MPCC) , a mother to two adults, and a grandmother to three young children. I hold registration with both the CPCA and ACTA as a Clinical Counselor, Psychotherapist, and Registered Professional Counselor.

My personal experiences have instilled in me a strong desire to support others in areas that I found difficult to access when I needed. These include being a single to both a neurotypical and neurodiverse child, sexual abuse trauma, and exploring my own mental, physical, sexual identity.

I began my career working in pre- and postnatal outreach, parenting, as well as anxiety and couples relationship counseling. I observed how an individual’s relationship with sex and sexuality often provides valuable insights into other aspects of their lives. Since this is one of the most intimate and private aspects of human experience, it can deeply influence every part of our lives, whether within or outside a relationship.

In supporting my clients, I employ a variety of approaches and modalities tailored specifically to each individual’s needs. These include CBT, Sensate Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, among others.

ASH Counseling is my private counseling practice, and I also collaborate with Healing Family Matters (HFM). HFM, owned Niki Hardick, comprises a team of therapists with diverse focuses and specialties. Further information can found at healingfamilymatters.com .

I am available to address any questions you may have and offer a complimentary initial consultation. This serves as an opportunity to discuss your goals for support, to become acquainted, and to determine next steps if you feel I am a suitable therapist for your needs.

Individual sessions typically last 60 minutes, while couples and multiple-person sessions are 90 minutes. Extended sessions can be arranged, and evening or weekend appointments are also available. My schedule varies weekly to accommodate these flexible hours as needed.

I look forward to assisting you and exploring how I can best support you.
