My name is IdaNicole, I am a Registered Professional Counselor; mom to 2 adults and gramma to 3 littles. I am registered with both the CPCA and ACTA as a Clinical Counselor, Psychotherapist, and Registered Professional Counselor.

My past experiences gave me a desire to support others in areas that I myself found hard to access when I needed it. From being a single parent of both a neuro typical and a neuro diverse child, overcoming sexual abuse and trauma, to figuring out my own identity mentally, physically and sexually.

I started working in pre and postnatal outreach, parenting, as well as anxiety and couples relationship work. I noticed how people’s relationship with sex and sexuality sometimes provided insights into other aspects of their lives; nothing is more intimate and private and as such it can affect every part of us and our lives – in or out of a relationship.

I use a variety of approaches and modalities when supporting my clients; specifically tailered to each individual’s needs. Some of those include CBT, Sensate Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and others.

 ASH Counseling is my private counseling practice; I also contract to Healing Family Matters (HFM). HFM is owned by Niki Hardick who has put together a team of therapists who have different focuses and specialties. You can access more information at healingfamilymatters.com.

I am happy to discuss any and all questions you may have; I book an initial consultation which is free of charge – it is to discuss what you are hoping to get support with, for us to get to know each other a little and decide what next steps you would like to take if you feel I am a good fit for you as a therapist.

Individual appointments are approximately 60 minutes and couples/multiples sessions are 90 minutes. Longer sessions can be booked, as well as evening and weekend appointments can also be arranged. My schedule varies each week to be able to accommodate later or weekend hours as needed.
